Vilnius University is one of the oldest universities in Eastern and Central Europe. Established in 1579 it is one of the few universities in Europe which has preserved its original purpose of the old buildings. The spectacular chambers and courtyards provide an original location for conferences and seminars of many kinds. There are also several modern classrooms and lecture halls that can be used as break-out rooms.
