Vilnius to Host European Athletics Convention 2023 

Over 300 delegates from the European Athletics Member Federations will gather in Vilnius in 2023, a year when Lithuania is marking a historical milestone – the 700th anniversary of Vilnius. 

Hosted by Lithuanian Athletics Federation, one of the most important nonsporting events of European Athletics will take place in 19-21 October. The annual event is designed to support Member Federations offering opportunities for education, networking, planning, and debriefing as well as socialising, along with the usual area or interest group meetings and calendar planning activities. The three-day programme will include a number of workshops and panel sessions addressing the topics of interest to anyone involved in athletics in Europe and, as usual, there will be meetings of regional athletics organisations and specific interest groups. 

The 16th European Athletics Convention is coming back to Vilnius for the second time after successfully hosted 10th edition in 2017. A celebrating city is looking forward to welcoming the European athletics family once again and promises an unforgettable experience and vivid festivity.
