Vilnius Restaurants Shine in Global Culinary Rankings

Two Vilnius restaurants, Nineteen18 and Džiaugsmas, have secured a place in the prestigious "LaListe" 2023 ranking of the world's best restaurants. The "LaListe" TOP 1.000 is compiled from an extensive online database that aggregates reviews from numerous guides, press publications, and millions of restaurant guests.  

Expressing his joy, Chef A. Kubilius of the “Nineteen18” restaurant shared, “It is a recognition of our hard work, passion, and dedication to creating exceptional culinary experiences. We are proud to be among the top 1,000 best restaurants in the world while serving only locally sourced ingredients." 

Restaurants "Nineteen18" and "Džiaugsmas" offer improvised dining experiences for up to 40 and 64 guests, respectively. They aim to showcase the vibrant flavors inspired by local ingredients and strive to represent the essence of Lithuania through their culinary offerings. 

This is the first time Lithuanian restaurants have made it onto the esteemed "LaListe" list, and only five restaurants from the Baltic countries have been included in this ranking. 

In addition to these accolades, Vilnius' culinary scene continues to flourish. The renowned Luxury Dining Destination online magazine has selected "Ertlio Namas", another Vilnius restaurant, for the cover story of its issue, highly recommending it to discern connoisseurs of gourmet destinations. The restaurant offers unique space for up to 114 guests (visit 3D tour), where refined historical Lithuanian cuisine gracefully meets modern culture and technology.
