The Europa Cinemas Network will hold its biennial Conference in Vilnius, marking the first time this prestigious event is hosted in a Baltic capital. This landmark gathering will bring together over 500 film professionals, including cinema owners, distributors, and representatives from cultural institutions across more than 30 countries, to explore the evolving challenges and opportunities facing the cinema industry today.
For almost 30 years, Vilnius has been represented in the Europa Cinemas Network through its vibrant cinemas, which showcase Lithuanian culture within the broader European community. This year’s Conference highlights the city’s dynamic role in the industry, offering participants a chance to experience Vilnius’s historic charm and renowned film venues. “The network’s progress has always stemmed from collaboration, and it is in this spirit that we will all meet again in Vilnius in November for the 23rd Network Conference,” said Fatima Djoumer, CEO of Europa Cinemas Network.
