Grand Hotel Vilnius, Curio Collection by Hilton™ will open in May this year in the historic former telegraph building in the very heart of the capital city across from the Cathedral Square, replacing the Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius. It will be the first Curio Collection by Hilton luxury brand hotel in the Baltics.
The Curio Collection by Hilton is a global portfolio of remarkable luxury 5-star hotels situated in authentic and distinctivebuildings or areas of cities. The brand designates a great value on the historical and cultural uniqueness of each hotel and its surroundings, so no two Curio Collection by Hilton hotels, of which there are currently 160 worldwide, are alike.
According to Marius Jakulis Jason, investor, philanthropist, and owner of the hotel, it was decided to enter a new, even more impressive stage of the hotel's history: to enter into a franchise agreement with the international and prestigious Hilton chain, which owns more than 7 500 hotels worldwide under 22 different brands. When implementing changes and elevating the hotel's quality to new heights, the aim is to preserve and strengthen the cherished aspects of the hotel that guests have come to love over the past decade.
The new-branded hotel will preserve one of the biggest conference centres in Vilnius Oldtown, with the main room offering over 180 seats in theatre style and three other meeting rooms.
"Our guests and corporate clients will enjoy the benefits of Hilton's award-winning Guest loyalty program, Hilton Honors. The Hilton‘s powerful commercial engine will undoubtedly bolster the global profile of the hotel, consequently enhancing Vilnius and Lithuania's visibility on the world stage," adds M. Jakulis Jason.
The hotel will be managed by Apex Alliance Hotel Management working with the premier international hotel brands and currently runs four other hotels in Vilnius. The company ensures that for hotel guests who have booked services for May and later periods, nothing will change - services will be provided in full scope, guaranteeing the highest quality.
"Taking over the legendary hotel in the heart of Vilnius, our company is expanding its luxury portfolio to four 5-star hotels in Europe. With the launch of the first Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in the Baltics, we aim to invigorate the hospitality sector and embark on a new era for the hotel," says Giovanni Valentini, CEO of Apex Alliance Hotel Management, an independent hotel operator.
