Eastern European Machine Learning Summer School, co-organized by Vilnius University and Artificial Intelligence Association of Lithuania, will take place in Vilnius 6-14 July, 2022 in hybrid format. The event will gather around 200 researchers from accross Europe and it will be the first time it takes place in the Baltic region.
Machine learning and artificial intelligence have become major topics in both academia and industry, with a tremendous potential to impact everyday life. The main aim of the one-week summer school is to popularise topics around machine learning and artificial intelligence more broadly in Europe and specifically in Eastern Europe, and to encourage research in these fields.
It includes both lectures and practical sessions (labs) to improve the theoretical and practical understanding of these topics. The school is aimed in particular at graduate, postgraduate, doctoral and post-doctoral researchers from Europe, but is also open to anyone interested in the topic.
