There is always an option to come to Vilnius by your own car.

Summer tyres must be used between 1 April and 10 November, and winter tyres between 10 November and 1 April.
Road traffic regulations also allow the use of studded tyres until 10 April.
During the daytime, drivers of motor vehicles and motorbikes must drive with dipped headlights.

From 1 April to 31 October, the speed limit for motorcars on highways is 130 km/h.
From 1 November to 31 March the speed limit is 110 km/h.
From 1 April to 31 October, the speed limit for motorcars on expressways is 110 km/h.
From 1 November to 31 March the speed limit is 100 km/h.
On the the Vilnius-Kaunas section of A1 highway, the speed limit is 130 km/h in summer and 110 km/h in winter.
On roads with asphalt or concrete pavement the speed limit is 90 km/h.
On other roads the speed limit is 70 km/h.

The following parking lots in Vilnius operate 24/7:

Gedimino Avenue 9 A (a large underground parking zone beneath Gedimino Avenue, Ž. Liauksmino Street and V. Kudirkos Square for 262 cars).
Tilto Street 14 (a multi-storey parking lot in Tilto Street for 117 cars).
T. Kosciuškos Street 1 A (with 58 places for motorcars and 26 places for buses not far from the Old Town. From here it is only about five minutes to Cathedral Square, Pilies Street or Gedimino Avenue).
