Vilnius to Host First-Ever EuroDIG Conference 2024

Vilnius, Lithuania, will host the inaugural EuroDIG Conference from June 17 to 19, 2024, welcoming 300 diverse delegates for discussions on Internet Governance-related public policy matters. The event, hosted by the Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania, promises to foster intellectual exchange and collaboration.

EuroDIG is an open multi-stakeholder platform dedicated to Internet governance discussions, with a primary goal of encouraging active European participation. It enables the sharing of expertise and best practices while seeking common ground on pressing Internet issues, emphasizing decision shaping over final decision-making.

In the lead-up to EuroDIG, the YOUthDIG innitiative is on the horizon. It is a vibrant platform tailored specifically to ignite the enthusiasm of young individuals aged 18 to 30 across Europe, passionate about Internet governance, digital policy, and international cooperation. This platform allows them to collaborate in shaping youth-focused messages and contribute to a brighter digital future.

The chosen historic venue for EuroDIG 2024 is a former ISM University located in Vilnius’ charming Old Town. Offering excellent conference facilities and proximity to hotels and restaurants, the venue ensures a memorable and enriching experience for delegates, both within the conference walls and amidst the cultural richness of Vilnius.
